About SolveCalc
A free calcsolver, a short shelf of math tools, and the source code behind both.
What This Site Is
SolveCalc started as one page: a scientific calculator that loaded fast and did not demand an account. This GitHub Pages edition keeps that idea and trims everything else away. You get the calculator, nine focused tools, and a handful of written guides.
It is deliberately small. The larger project, with far more reference material, lives at solvecalc.net. This build exists so the same tool is reachable from a plain static host with its source sitting in the open next to it.
How It Is Built
Static HTML, one stylesheet and one script. No framework, no build server, nothing rendered on request. Pages are generated from templates and committed as finished HTML, which is why they arrive in a single round trip.
The calculator and every tool run entirely in your browser. You can read all of it in the repository rather than taking my word for what the page does.
Who It Is For
Students working through homework on a Chromebook, anyone who wants a calculator without an app store detour, and people who would rather inspect a tool than trust it. The public source is part of the answer to that last one.
What It Will Not Do
There is no account system, no newsletter, no tracking beyond basic visit counts, and nothing is sold here. If a feature would require collecting what you type, it does not get built.
